MADISON, Wis. — Even as more Republicans split with Donald Trump on his disastrous trade war with Canada, Congressman Tom Tiffany, who has voted with Trump 100% of the time, continues to stand by his man.Â
The latest to bail is Mike Rogers, Trump’s hand-picked Michigan Senate nominee, who is now running ads calling for an end to Trump’s tariffs. Meanwhile, Tiffany has been one of Washington’s most enthusiastic supporters of Trump’s costly and destructive tariff regime, voting twice to protect tariffs on Canada earlier this year despite the toll on Wisconsin businesses, farmers, and families.
